a 3 day, 2 night retreat for incoming college freshmen at Appalachian State University

We understand how vital it is to find community in college. Our focus is on connecting incoming App state freshmen to campus ministries and local churches. 

Mission statement

The Rock Retreat exists to glorify God by introducing incoming freshmen at App State to the fellow Church body and campus ministries in order to provide them with the community and confidence needed to successfully navigate college.

The mission of The Rock Retreat is to advance God’s kingdom by proclaiming the Gospel, cultivating relationships, and connecting students to ministries & local churches. We want students to have the opportunity to get involved without the financial aspect of the retreat holding them back.
